problems with cruise control S70

1998 S70 with cruise control problem- systemn quit completely while driving. I've run a few tests with a vacuum gauge, but without a schematic(Chilton manual was little help), diagnosis proving difficult. Is battery/battery tray removal worth the headache as far as access any components?

Yes, and under there you're most likely to find a broken vacuum line to the C.C. which if you patch together should work. I had this happen to mine. Maybe you'll be just as lucky.
