Hello,
The front passenger side window on my '00 V70 cannot be put up or down from the drivers' window switch. It can however be operated on the passenger seat switch. I checked some of the previous threads and I'm not sure what applies. If the probelm is related to fuses and/or switches please give detials as I plan to make the repair myself(Hopefully). Your help is appreciated...Have a nice Holiday. JHagen

    Usually, dirt and water get into the switches. Some people get lucky when they just wiggle the switch up and down about 100 times. The entire unit lifts straight up and can be unplugged. They changed suppliers since 1998, and your unit may not come apart for needed cleaning. You could try tapping the bottom with a screwdriver handle in case there is something lodged in the switch.

    Buy the Master switch assembly from fcpgroton or your own source and
    it will solve your window problems. Common issue with these models.
    BTW, it can be replaced without removing the door panel. Search on this
    site for "window switch assembly" for more info.
