Yesterday I was driving my 1999 S80 when the left signal wouldn't turn off. After turning my car off and then back on, the signal lights, high beams, controls to the radio on the steering wheel, the message ind. & cruise control stopped working. It seems everything relating to the steering column has malfunctioned. Can anyone advise what the cause can be? I checked the fuses and they appear to be Ok.

    Locate the fuse for the SWM (Steering Wheel Molule) on the left end of the dash, and pull it out for a few seconds. See the listing on the fuse cover. This causes the SWM to reboot which will probably fix the problem. If you keep getting this problem, talk to the dealer about an old fix for this.
