help: rerplacing license plate light bulbs S40-V40

Hi,
yesterday I had the unpleasant experience of being pulled over by the police for my license plate light bulbs being out. Can some please tell me how to replace these bulbs on a '00 S40? I see the plastic covers but I am not sure how to get at the bulbs.

thanks,
David

On my 850 and 70, there are torx screws holding the plastic lense in place. If the 40 doesn't have torx screws, they are probably pressure fitted. Check your owner's manual, it comes with pictures and bulb sizes.

Klaus
EDIT: I just looked at the S40 owner's manual. There are no pics or verbage on how to replace those bulbs.
