1998 V70 dtivers side rear seat belt. my rear seatbelt cant be pulled out it seems like it went in too far when the seat back was down. the belt will pull out about 1 inch and then lock up, like it was being yanked quickly. any ideas?

This happened to my v70 a few years ago. the little button on the belt (stops it from retracting too far had self destructed).Anyhow, mine retracted quite far with the seat folded down. You could not get the seat back in it upright position due to the belt. I unbolted the anchor in the floor and raised the seat then was able to pull it back out and rebolt it. I promptly replaced the little plastic button.

Without taking everything apart, I suggest you spend at least 30 minutes of extremely slow pulling on the belt. Do not yank on the belt, that just makes it worse. A snails pace just might work,
