2000 S-80 rough idle S80 2000

Need help with rough idle. Just changed the plugs but no difference. If a coil pack is faulty wouldn't it have fouled the plug? No old plugs seemed to have be fouled. All vaccums seem to be working ok. Air filter not that dirty. Any ideas. thanks

2000 S-80 rough idle S80 2000

I have a 99 S80 T7 and mine idles a little rough......and this is after having the ECM replaced.

I would love to turn the idle speed up a little, but understand that this is impossible as idling is totally controlled by software.

Note: my car runs great, loads of power, smooth on the highway, just idles a little rough.

I had the software upgrade to the ECM done 2 years ago and it fixed some hesitation problems but now the rough idle kinda popped up and I think it may be a coil pack. The car runs smooth otherwise but at idle it feels like a diesel. Anybody know how to test a coil pack b/f i get some that maybe i don't need?
