Replacing CV Joints 850 1996

It definitely seems that it is time to replace CV joints, I hear a definite clicking when I turn. I've never done that before, any advice or tips?

Thanks

Jonah
P.S. The seatbelt on the drivers refuses to retract...any ideas?

I've done mine a while ago. I didn't go oem and we shall see over time. I didn't have to replace the axle seals as they didn't leak any fluid out (so I returned the one I bought). It's been over 2 years and working fine with lots of daily driving.

The only rule that I followed was to get a new axle, not a reman one. I'm sure that there are many reputable places, but I have read about many bad experiences with reman ones. I got mine at Auto Parts express, it was new and has a lifetime warranty on it. It was $119.00.

As Klaus says, check the mentioned site. I have done a number of these using fcpgrotons axels with good results. Used Volvo seals.

Replacing axles is beyond me. There are some hints on volvospeed.com
The best advice is to make sure you get OEM, the seals fit into the trans better.

The seat belt is probably twisted inside some where. Just slowly pull it all of the way out and look for a twist or two. Let it back in slowly so it winds smoothly.
