Vibration noise in Reverse V70-XC70 1998

I have noticed a new noise coming from my 98 XC. In reverse, when I let up on the brake, I feel and hear a vibration(first harder then softer, then harder, etc.) coming from the rear....I am wondering what this could be and imagining the worst! Anything come to mind?

Check your engine mounts and the tranny mount for play.
