Transmisssion arrow indicator flashing on the dash (overdrive) lights on the transmission control switch is flashing. The car will only move in high gear.
code showing shift solonoid number 2. Bought a new switch still did not rectify problem.

Just had the evaporator replaced for the AC with a leak. It is in the shop now. We are ordering another switch on the off chance that the new switch is bad somehow. Would appreciate any recommendations.

After replacing evap I had myriad problems almost right away including trans not shifting and various trouble codes - we traced it to the large red connector under the dash not being reseated well when we put it back in. Seated it and put a couple of nylon ties around it to be sure it would not back out again. No repeat of the troubles so far after 2 years.
