1993 850 dash lights on at idle rpm 850 1993

Need some help please. The problem started two day's ago, when i start the car the dashboard lights will came on, oil level, windshield, burn out lights, brake light, hand brake light, abs light. This lights stay on at idle rpm, if i give gas and raise the rpm to about 1500 than all lights will go off. The same when i am driving the lights will go on and off. Thanks in advance

    Hi,
    if you checked all of Klaus's hints u might look at the generator voltage regulator brusches. I had occationally blinking lights and the voltage regulator renewal cured it. In 850 -94 N/A u can swap the regulator having the generator in it's spot.

    You are not going to like this:

    Probably a ground wire that has gone bad in the engine compartment.
    Or, a faulty ignition switch. Jiggle the key, if the lights go out, thats it.
    Or, a resistor in the instrument panel.

    You could check the codes on A7 - instrument panel.
