I have a 1999 V70 and I would like to put seat covers on the front. Just how do you remove the head rest. I had a 740GLE and the head rest were easy to come off.
Please advise.

    If you press on and take the headrest off, please share the experience. I have a 98 V70 that is perfect except that I would prefer a lower profile headrest. I have not been able to find an after-market replacement. After poking and proding every seam on the seat; the main body and headrest seem to be inseparable. Otherwise the car is perfect. Any insight would be welcome. Thanks, Bob

    I don't think they come out. (i may be wrong)

    but remember the side airbags. you need seat covers designed for use with side airbags, or you may defeat the purpose of them.
