noob question: what's an '855'?? 850

i see people refer to their 850's as "855" on here from time to time.. what does "855" mean?

That relates back to the good old days when the last digit represented the number of doors on the car. 242 = 2 door, 244 = 4 door, 245 = 5 door (wagon hatch). The second digit represented the number of cylinders, the first refered to as model number.

It's the Wagon version of the 850. I know, I have 1994 Turbo 855. (Still hummin' along!)
