ok my last car was an Audi...and thats really the only thing that i miss about the audi..it had the sport seats (big side bolsters) when i bought my 855R thats the only thing that really bothered me..the lack of sport seats..
the R's have the cool looking black/alcantera seats..but theyre just fancy seatcovers on the regular 850 seats..
i find that my left knee is always resting on the doorpanel when i drive.. it drives me nuts.. with the sport seats in the audi my leg/thigh was supported and didnt fall out against the doorpanel.. im 6ft tall and the seat is all the way back.
i found a '98 V70 in a junkyard with the black leather interior.. the seats didnt look any more supportive though so i passed on them.. was there ever a sport seat offered for the 850? or have any of you adapted any other front seats into your 850's? Recaros would be nice...but i dont want to lose the SIPS..or the heated seats..

any ideas??? i really miss my sport seats!

There is also about two inches of adjustment in the base of the seat both front and back. You do not see this unless you take the seat trim off or take the seat out. I was able to lower the 850 seats that I put in my 544.

Don't mess with the seat unless you put the red cover over the seat air bag trigger. It is not electric, I think that it is pneumatic.

Interesting, I am 6'7" and find that tilting the front of the seat up gives me plenty of thigh support. My inseam is 36", BTW. Head room is a different story :)

Nice seats for a 544!!! If I lower my electric seats any further I will have to look up to Mini Coopers :) The R model is already lowered.

I will check my seat mounts, but there isn't much room under the electric motors :)
