I have OEM pads on front and back. The dust is terrible. Are Mintex pads a good solution? I would do them even though I don't need pads yet.

    Mintes are better with dust than OEM. I went to PBR metal masters, there is no dust anymore. BUT, when it rains hard and the rotors get wet, they tend to slip instead of grab at the first application of the brakes. I never follow too closely, so that hasn't been a problem yet :)

    After putting on new pads do the following:

    I had PBR Metal Masters for 60k(!) and very little dust. Just replaced them with Akebono ceramics, still very little dust.
