Puffing smoke from Dipstick 850

Howdy Bricksters,
I could of sworn that I read somewhere that when you remove your dip stick and see white smoke puffing out of it you have a clogged flame trap, which would explain my unusual high oil consumption, and a oil leak that I can;t find. Any input on this, or I'm I just plain crazy.

Hi
I've got the same symptom on my wagon and also white smoke from the exhaust when I accelerate after a downhill, then it stops. My car is a 855 T5 and being a turbo doesn't have a PCV valve, correct? I also have high oil consuption, around 1L every 2000 Km, but having 300000Km plus on the engine...
Apart from this and of front warped rotors this machine runs like hell!
Anything i can do(clean, check or change)to improve the oil consumption and the smoke?

You are quite correct, the oil breather system is plugged up. Correct the PCV valve first, also check the small diameter hose because it also gets completely clogged and hard as a rock.
