Radiator Interchangeable btwn 96 850 GLT & 95 850 Turbo? 850

Hi All

Well, my field expedient JB Weld radiator repair failed. Does anyone know if the radiator from a 95 850 Turbo will fit in a 96 850 GLT?

Thanks in advance
Bob

If your GLT does not have a turbo engine, i think you can just leave the oil cooler fittings (passenger side of radiator) unplugged.

Make sure the donor car has an automatic transmission if you car has one, because you will need to plug the trans oil cooler (same fittings than for the engine oil cooler on the radiator but on driver's side)

It should. Both cars have turbos and oil coolers in the radiator.

Of course JB Weld won't hold, the temps are too high for it. Otherwise we would all have a can in the trunk :)

Please answer your responses. We need to know if the advice is good or bad. The 164 has a new home, all I am left with are 2 turbos :)
