Rear part of drive shaft V70-XC70

I am in need of locateing a part for my Volvo V70 AWD and would like a sugestion. I noticed a vibration at about 60 mph comming from the rear of the car so I jacked it up on all four wheels and sliped it into drive. Went under the car to hear/see the rear part of the drive shaft clanking around. With further inspection I found that the main two pieces of the drive shaft are fine as well as the center bearing and U-joint. The rear most part of the drive shaft conects to what looks to be a housed drive shaft. It is very short (a little over a foot long) with what looks like two CV joints. one connecting to the main drive shaft and the other connecting to the rear end. What is this housed shaft reffered to as? I hate to pull it down entill I have the part or know what I am dealing with as far as price. Every place I have found a drive shaft at just sells the main two shafts.
Thanks for the help.
Zak

Trying to visualize... is it the viscous coupling? Between the shaft and the differential. Not an inexpensive part.

Please answer your responses. We need to know if the advice is good or bad. The 164 has a new home, all I am left with are 2 turbos :)
