drivers side AC vents 850 1995

I haven't driven my wife's car in over a year , today I get in for a drive and I notice that there is no AC coming out of the two drivers side vents . The repair shop was up in the dash about 4 months ago to repair the speedo gear , is it that they just forgot to reattach the hose to that vent ? All of the others blow ice cold and I notice that there are just a couple of screws holding on that panel under the steering wheel , can I drop that panel and pull a contortionist move with my arm and reach it and reattach it . Please don't tell me that I have to drop the dash !

I doubt that the vent tube was moved. You might want to check the codes in slot B-1 if you have electronic climate control (numbers in the temp dials).
By all means, grab a torx driver and lower the kick panel and take a look. If you have ECC, the vent controller is a black box, about 4X4 inches, behind the speedometer area. Do NOT take the controller out, just check if it is plugged in.
Both of the vent dials are turned all of the way down, right? Check the vent by your right foot, with the fan set at max, to see if air is coming out there.
