I was wondering if anyone has seen a source for detailed repair manuals, or has a reference to availibility of manuals for the V70 P2 platforms.

I recently purchased a Black V70 R and it is fairly complex after working on the rear wheel drives 245, 745 T, and 945 T for years. It would be interesting to read about all the suspension and AWD controls.

It was been a long time since I posted.

Still haven't completed the reserection of the Red 745 T 302, that was destroyed by a eighty year old guy in a Crown Victory when he hit me head on. It took 2 years to finish and I drove it maybe 3,000 miles. Too much business travel, just can't get the drive to do it again.

There is a Haynes repair manual it covers the years from 2000 to April of 2004 for the V70 and 1998 to 2005 for the S80. It's Haynes #4263. I had to order it from England and it took two weeks to come. If you do a Google search using "ISBN: 9781844252633" you should find it. It is also listed under the older book number system as "1844252639" same book just the older way of listing. Cost in the low to mid 30's with shipping and handling to the US.

PS. If you have trouble finding it check out GetTextbooks.com and do the search using "ISBN: 9781844252633" they had a number of listings for it.

Take a look at Ebay, there are some pirated copies of VADIS CDs. There are no more "written" manuals. Just make sure the date is equal or greater than your year R.

You will have to change the date of your computer to install it, then change the date back after installation.

Or, you could subscribe to ALLDATA DIY for about $25/year, or look for ALLDATA at your local library and print what you want.

There is a V70 manual for Britain, but they drive on the wrong side of the road.
