Strut tower V70-XC70 2000

I have a clunking sound coming from the front pass. side. Similar to the previous post. I tried to tighten the strut tower nut but I cannot budge it. Any ideas. I have already tried PB blaster a few times.

Thanks,
Ken

Probably a strut bushing. If you can easily twist the black plastic top of the strut, it's worn/torn. The parts are cheap, but you have to get a spring decompressor to get the strut apart if you want to DIY. Check the shocks cartridge while you're at it to see if they both feel the same.

Just so we're talking about the same thing, the black plastic cap I'm referring to sits inline at the top of your steel rod at the top of your strut cartridge. If you can grab it with your fingers and twist it easily, your strut bushing is probably worn out.
