Were any S80s equipped with the 2.5T engine? S80

I know that this is probably crazy, because I believe that all the S80s (we're talking the first generation, pre-'07 cars) had the 2.9 liter six.

But I've been looking through some online Volvo dealer used S80 listings, and at one dealer near me, they list several (not all) S80s with a 2.5T engine. Is that a mistake on their part, or is that at all possible?

Sure, there were lots of 2.5Ts. Towards the end they were all 2.5Ts, no 2.9s at all, because the transmission with the 2.9 was so bad. You can become an expert on this at the EPA site - http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/findacar.htm
