SRS light on V70-XC70 2002

I took out the center climate control panel and the radio to install an FM modulator for my MP3 player. I started the engine up before I had everything screwed back together, just to make sure everything worked properly. Now my SRS warning light is on. It wasn't on before I started this install. I've read a bunch of post here about disconnecting the battery and only the dealer can reset it. (I'll try the battery first)
Anybody know why it would come on by just removing the 2 items?

Also, is there a V70 FWD board here? All I see is AWD.

    There is a specific order for disconnecting and reconnecting components of the air bag system (the controller is under console). It is probably posted on the web somewhere. You need to find it and follow it exactly. I don't know whether you can reset the SRS light yourself once it is set.

      I didn't disconnect any airbag/SRS components. I only removed the climate control panel and the radio, which I have also done a few weeks ago with any SRS problems. I'm puzzled as to why the SRS warning message is now on.
      Does any know who sells a reasonably priced SRS reset tool?
