Few more questions on suspension & main seal. 850 1997

My 97 Volvo has 110K on the clock, there is a little bit of oil leaks from the main seal, is it normal(Between engine & tranny); not sure I should replace it now or just leave it the way it is. If I decide to replace it, how much does it cost?

I believe it is time to replace all suspensions; does it cost a lot to replace them?

The rear main seal (RMS) is a very expensive job. The tranny has to be separated from the engine and the $35 seal gets replaced.

You just might have a blocked oil breather problem. That will create pressure inside the block and blow oil out of the RMS. Start the car, pull out the oil dipstick, and hold a piece of paper over the dip stick hole. If it stys to suck it in, that is good. If it is blowing air out, you need to clean up/replace the breather system. About $130 in parts and a few hours of labor.

You want to replace your suspension? Why? Which parts? Why?
