Hi,
couldn't find the connector in 2002 V40 with 2l volvo turbo engine. The car is giving check engine for first time and would like to read the codes but cannot find the connector as is not my own car.
If it is the o2 code, are there any 'run it hot and clean' experiencies?

Tapsa, on the 850 it was under the "coin" tray. The S/V70 moded it to the center arm rest. The P2 models have it under the dash with the fuse holder.

Don't know but it must be within 3 feet of the driver and must be accessible without tools. So it has to be somewhere on the console or under the steering wheel.

Look under the dash between the gas pedal and the shifter. It's about halfway between above the tunnel
