I am thinking about replacing the factory radio with an ECLIPSE In-Dash Nav, sat ready unit. The problem is that the aftermarket faceplates are single DIN size, the radio hat is in the car is a double din. "The Books" say only a single din will fit. Why??? Any thoughts?

    i acrually looked into this once, the reason for the after double's not fitting is that the dash is slightly off square on the left side, and no manufacture has made a radio that will actually fit with the space provided inside and panal wise. besides if your going to go with satallite youll want a single anyways as the extra equip will just fit behind and around the radio.
