1999 v70 front brakes dragging V70-XC70 1999

I thought I had a frozen caliper on my front brakes. With the car in the air. Both front calipers are applying pressure to the rotors. Car is in neutral. It takes quite a bit of leverage to turn the tires. There is plenty of pad left on both sides.

Could both calipers go at the same time?
Is there something on V70's that can cause this to happen?
Master cylinder?

thanks for the help

May be soemthign about the 99's?
I have had two frozen calipers on my 99 V70. One was repaired by the dealership after I bought the car from them. 35,000 miles later the opposite caliper was also bad. I suspect that the caliper had been sticking for quite a while. It was not until it really started to grab and overheat the rotor that it became really obvious.
The car had been pulling and also had a pulsing feeling during acceleration that I never could quite figure out. It's gone now.

Did you clean and grease the 2 slide pins??? They get covered in black tar like substance.
