Renting an XC70 in SF area V70-XC70

Folks

I'm over from NZ in the US for work starting in a couple of days and I'll be based near Concord, San Francisco for 3 weeks. I need to rent a car and would like to rent an XC70. What major rental chains rent these, and are they at a significant cost premium to an average mid sized saloon?

Hertz rents them. My last visit, I saw a lot of 2008 XC's. I would guess they are only for rich people :) Go to www.hertz.com to look up rates.

      Hi,
      Echo what Klaus said:Hertz
The last several biz trips we`ve rented XC, S60 & this upcoming trip I think we`ll go an S40 or V50. The XC was expensive & too big for big city traffic. The S60 was fun but again, expensive.
For some reason, the Volvo`s seem to be a popular rental choice so I`d advise to book early. On one of our trips I left it too late & had to take a Chrysler Sebring;what a POS!!!
