Loose door panel V70-XC70 2000

2000 V70SE...

There are lots of posts about delaminating panels and no real fixes; but I don't think that's my problem.

On this car, the bottom of each front door panel just seems to have come loose and flops around, likely because of eight years of use and wear and tear. There are no clips at the bottom to anchor the panel to the door, just a strip of felt or foam between the plasic panel and painted metal inner door.

Live with it or is there a fix?

Thanks

Robert

There are supposed to be 3 plastic clips. But you could try a couple of pieces of velcro?

I will look again for the clips - good idea about the velcro!

      Thanks, Robert

If you live near an auto body shop supplier, see if they have clips. One near me will sell retail and I love them for it. Everyone I've ever bought has cost 20 cents. They're ~$3.00 each at a dealer. Sometimes auto parts stores sell them in little 5 packs but I've frequently failed to find my specific clip. You need the "Double flat top barbed push-pin", if I'm not mistaken. It'll feel great when your door is solid again; I know. Kira
