60k MILES SERVICE S40-V40

Hi Guys
My daughter's 00 S40 is due for the 60K miles service. Besides what's prescribed
in the owner's manual, what else should I look into?
The car always starts, but it needs quite a bit of cranking to start. Spark plugs were changed some 20K miles ago. Do I need need ones? Battery is 2 years old.
Exhaust system and shocks are still original. We live in NY metro area, not known
for good roads. Should I have these inspected/changed?
What about the turbo? Does it need any kind of special attention?
Tks for your suggestions.

    60k MILES SERVICE S40-V40

The service manual should cover most of it.

Spark plugs are still OK if Volvo OEM plugs were used. Otherwise, new plugs.

Exhaust and shocks/suspension should be fine at 60K. They should inspect at each service interval though anyway. I would not expect anything needing replacement. My 02 S40 is at 62K and original shocks, susp, exhaust are in very good shape.

Turbo doesn't need any special attention so long as no leaks or smoke. Regular oil changes should make it live long.

Regarding the long cranking I would have them look at that. No check engine light or engine miss while driving? If they used non-OEM spark plugs then those could be worn out which would lead to hard starting and hesitation under full throtle.

Rough idle; no power; 32psi fuel pressure; Regina 700 1990

My 740 barely runs, and I dare not drive it. Low end acceleration is very poor. The engine sounds good past 2000 rpm, but the enine sometimes stalls after releasing the throttle. I repaced the fuel filter, plugs, and wires. The fuel pressure is consistantly at 32 psi (with FPR hose off). Even though the pressure is a little low, I do not think the fuel pressure could be causing the all the problems. The car only needs 35 psi at low end, and 43 psi full throttle.

What other things could be causing my problems?

      Thank you
