So no s70 turbo manuals eh? S70

After doing some searches it seems the s70 turbos only came with manuals in the t5 form. Is that correct for the 850s as well?

How would the T5s compare maintenance cost and gas mileage wise to a normal 850/s70?

I believe you lose about 2-3 mpg Turbo to non Turbo. I got 24 mpg in 70%hwy 30% cty driving with my 850 T5 in the summer. 2mpg less in the winter. The window sticker said 19 cty 26 hwy.

The turbo in the T5 is very reliable. As someone said, the return oil seal leaks sometimes, but it is an easy and cheap fix. The automatic T5 had night and day acceleration compared to the non Turbo from what I have heard. It is a heavy car.

NO 850 Turbo came to the states with a stick from the factory.

Can't find one! Its a shame, Ive got a NA 5 speed and I LOVE IT! I can only imagine what it would be like with all those extra horses!

As far as gas mileage, for some reason (im thinking the excessive use of my AC here in Texas) My mileage is, how do you say, horrible

In the city, i run usually less than 20 ( in summer) slightly higher in the cooler seasons. I run about 24-26 on the highway in the summer time.

Some people report mileage as high as 30 or more on the highway with a 5 speed. I guess I got the short end of the stick ( no pun intended of course)

Maintenance is similar, but I know that the seal at the oil return line leaks a lot on the turbo models.
