Pirelli Scorpion Tires... an odd issue (this just might be funny folks!) V70-XC70

Okay folks, this happened almost a month ago to my wife, but she is finally "cool" with sharing the experience! She was working on a flower bed in the back yard and found an ominous looking Wolf Spider crawling on her knee (this is a 2 inch dia black fuzzy monster that crawls around almost every inch of North Carolina). Not really venomous but they can leave a nasty infection if they bite you. She stood up, knocked the spider off her knee and spent the next 10 minutes in kill mode... yep, spider didn't make it! Did I mention that she has a significant dislike for spiders? Anyway, during her "spider death dance", she lost a contact lens, so she headed for her purse in the XC-70 (vision fuzzy due to missing contact)for a replacement contact lens.

As she approached the car, she saw a "spider like" insect on the right front tire, now that she was out for spider blood, off came a flip-flop and she beat the snot out of the tire with it! But wait... the bug didn't splat or move... she finally realized that the "bug" was a molded in scorpion on the sidewall of the tire! Thanks a lot Pirelli! When she told me about "the event", I laughed politely in a light-hearted way. But when I viewed the security cam video of "The Event" the next day, I simply lost it! Once she saw it, she did the same! Honestly, I'm surprised the tire didn't go flat!

Funny as all get-out, but I will spare my wife's dignity by NOT posting the video! Her final comment was when these tires wear out replace them with Michelins!
