850 buzzing on acceleration

My 96 850T has a peculiar resonance buzzing on acceleration that seems to be at firewall behind the glovebox area. I juts replaced the lower "front" mm and replaced the upper. no change it seems to come on at about 1500 and fades away at about 2000. Did I miss a motor mount?

Check the heatshield behind the turbo and around the exhaust.

    I still miss my 164 and my 854T. Just driving a V70R :)

There are 2 lower mm, front of car and driver's side.
? Is this sound only while in gear or under torque, or is it there if you are in neutral? There are so many plastic parts that could make the noise. Especially if the T belt cover has not been replaced properly.

the buzz/rez sound is only under load, quiet at idle. The donut mm's look to be in decent shape. will check the cover and other plastic bits that you suggest, but sounds more signif than just plastic vibrato.

i had a similar sound on my volvo, it was louder under accelleration. my 850 had a worn out engine/transmission link that made the sound you describe.

        good luck!
