Transmission Cooling Lines S80 1999

Good afternoon, I just replaced the radiator on my 1999 S80 Turbo. Had to buy the new green plastic clips that hold the transmission cooler lines to the radiator. Finally got them in (the first time), and they blew out after a week. Replaced them again (wish new ones), and they blew out of the radiator again. Does anyone have any ideas on how to keep these plastic clips working to hold the trans lines in?
Any help would be appreciated. Wish they would have stuck with the old metal clips.
Thank you.

I am not sure what the outside diameter is, but the metal clamps are still made.

You could also get hose clamps and screw them down. Not the ones from a hardware store, they will tear up the hose. Get clamps from an autoparts store that are solid metal on the inside and have one or 2 screws to tighten them up.

Actually these are plastic and hook to the inside. The one's that you are talking about are the older ones. I have that type on my 850 and they are fine.

These are green pplastic clips that lock into the inside diameter of the radiator.
Thanks though.
