IPD Sway bars worth it on a V70? V70-XC70

PArt 1:
I have put a few on my old 740s wagon and felt a nice performance increase. I am just about to consider putting some on my girl friends 2006 V70 wagon. I looked at the cat-converter and figured I would have to replace the two bolts that connect it. Aside from that it doesnt look too bad. Still looks alot more complicated than the older models? any feedback appreciated.

PART 2:
I figure having passed 50k, I going to persuade her to change the shocks, question now which ones? Bilstiens (Does it really need them??) or other brands??? I would opt for adjustable? please comment IF you have gone this route.
thanks

Your 740 and the V70 are two different animals. While Koni Sports are really nice, will you change the settings while you drive the car and back to softer when she drives?
Unless you Autocross, I wouldn't bother with any mods. The current struts are good for more than another 50K miles. Wait for the upper strut bushings to fail, then install XC90 bushings and new struts/shocks.
The tower brace from Volvo is a nice addition and better than the IPD version. Try that instead.
Replacement of the front sway bar is a bear. The engine subframe needs to be loosened, not a fun job.
