noise when turning right 850 1996

every so often i notice when i am turning to the right into a parking space and have the wheel turned all the way i will get a clunking or rubbing noise from the front right strut yet i was watching a video on 850s that said that many 850 models had this noise comonly. is this true or is it probably a problem with a suspension piece. thanks.

Reach behind the wheel an grab the thin verticle bar, sway bar end link, and try to shake it. If it moves, replace both, IPD makes a set that are guaranteed for 5 years.
Other wise, it might just be to strut spring mount bushing: jack the wheel off the ground, grab the strut spring as high up as you can and give it a good shake. If it moves at all, that is the problem.
