Hi, I am looking to buy 95 volvo 850 glt standard station wagon (non turbo) with 112K miles on it. Checked many things, seems to be in reasonable condition. What should I approx. pay?

    Got a 1995 listed near me in great shape with 120K for $1900, and a 1995 turbo with 125K or so for $2000 O/B

        A7 slot. 555 and then 1-1-2. Gives left 3 numbers of odo, 10 blinks = zero.

    I just bought a 1996 wagon for a friend for 1900. It had 160K and needed a new O2 sensor and alternator brushes. AC was good.

    It all depends on what part of the country you are in.

    I bought a 95 non turbo 850 with 160,000 miles from a Volvo dealer for 2300.00, and that needed a tune-up right away. I would pay up to 4000.

    Make sure the the odometer is turning when you do a test drive. Alot of the gears break around 100 K miles. If it's not turning then the mileage is certainly suspect and you're probably looking at a camm belt change that's around $400-500 dealer dollars. They should be changed every 70K miles or 5 years time. So even based on time you're going to need one ASAP. Make sure the tranny fluid isn't burned and get it warmed up really good on the test drive. Some '95 year drivers ,including myself, have experienced startup slippage after it gets warmed up. I wouldn't pay over four thousand. Brakes, tires, etc all factor in. If the AC evaporator hasn't been replaced then you're looking at a $1500 repair.

      It will of course depend on the condition of the car and locale. Try doing a search on autotrader.com, and you'll get a good idea of what prices folks are asking in your area.
