V70 CEL P0130 then P0135?

A few weeks ago, the Check Engine Light in my wife's '99 NA V70 came on. The guy at AutoZone read a P0130 code and erased it. The CEL came back on the next day. This time I took the car to Advance and they read a P0135. Same bank, same sensor, but different symptoms. Does this sound correct? I am going to run some Sea Foam through and see if that helps. Any other suggestions? I've heard of owners replacing the 02 sensors only to have the same code return. I'd like to avoid that kind of problem. Please help. TIA.

Those are interchangeable errors. You will need a new front O2 sensor. Right now, your gas mileage should be terrible.
If you DIY, get an OEM or equivilent because it will plug into the wire harness. Most get into trouble with the 3 wire and trying to splice and save a couple of bucks.

Also look around for vacuum leaks, that might cause the Pnnnn error.

Thanks, Kraus, I'll check for vacuum leaks. I see Groton has the OE Denso sensor for $189 and AutoZone has the OE Bosch for $161 ($95 if I want to try to splice it) Is the Bosch as good? David

For $20, go with OEM.
