2003 XC70 Transmission jerks after cold start V70-XC70

My 2003 XC70 with 75k miles just started to jerk the whole car for a second or two after starting up and just beginning to pull out of the parking place. After that, all is smooth.
One time it stalled out after the jerking episode.

It is like some command from the cpu is going haywire for an instant.

I called the local Volvo dealer and the mentioned downloading an upgraded program into the cpu.

Is there some kind of a recall on the original software?
Thanks
Jerry

Could it be that the tranny just needs a flush? I'm surprised the dealer didn't try to sell you that.

Do check the engine mounts. It does sound like the CPU is having a brain fart but why only when cold? The life partner's Mini will sometimes do that, but it isn't temperature dependent. The software may have a sort of learning feature that makes adjustments depending on how you drive. Not sure if that is something that can be reset by disconnecting the battery for a time. May be a trip to the dealer, along with the new software.

No recall, sorry. Check the engine mounts, one or three may be loose. Also check the tranny fluid level when the fluid is hot.
