Which one is better, a 98 V70R or 2000 V70R? V70-XC70

Which is more reliable, and better ride. Any majore improvement over those years?

The '00 has a bigger turbocharger and more torque and HP I think.

'98 V70 T5 180K mi., 5-speed manual, original (noisy) clutch, heated velour cloth comfy chairs, factory HD suspension (1998 only), Bilstein HD, front IPD stabilizer bar, Volvo strut tower brace and skidplate, XC grill, C70 jewel E-Codes, V-1, Lidatek, IPD stuff, JB Weld, Original Duck Tape, zip-ties, two Honda license plate nut impressions in back bumper (gift from daughter), Mobil-1 since new.

Which one is better, a 98 V70R or 2000 V70R? V70-XC70

Let me see... the 2000 has duel exhaust, nicer wheels, VVT, nicer looking instrument cluster, electronic throttle (a detriment for 1999), better radio, and the same rough ride as the 1998. The 2000 might even have a cover in the rear cargo area, the 98 didn't come with one.

I would buy the 2000 over the 1998, depending on condition of course. The AWD is the same problematic type. I have been looking around for a 2005-6 with a manual shifter, but those are still a little too expensive for my wallet.

Which one is better, a 98 V70R or 2000 V70R? V70-XC70

My 98 glt came with a rear cargo cover, it is bothersome so I took it out in order for the seats to come down and surfboards laying down in the back or groceries.
