On an oil leak Safari! 850

Well I'm tracking the oil leak on my T5. I've cleaned things off several times and still can't pinpoint the source. Pretty good leak, The entire bottom of the tranny gets wet. The oil is migrating from up top (thank god) the cross member gets wet too. Oil is dripping from the bottom of the turbo, but....the oil lines are bone dry. Return line is bone dry. Replaced the filler cap gasket. Cam seals? Having a tough time finding the source.

My rear main seal was leaking through the seam between the transaxle and block all the way on the bottom. So, if you can rule that out, you're doing well. Still, I would check the PCV system making sure all the hoses and elbows are tight. Otherwise the resident experts here will tell you exactly where to look on the turbo.

If it is not your turbo drain line seals, then I suspect it is your rear cam seal. That oil tends to run to the firewall side of the block and then drip down, past the turbo and yuck!
If it is the cam seal, your crankcase pressure is too high. Check the vacuum line that goes into the turbo fresh air line, just in front of the turbo. The nipple tends to get clogged with oil.
