I'm trying to figure whether to "pay or play" the TB, water pump, flush coolant job. I can certianly do it but it sure is nice to pick it up and it's all done. But costs are the determining factor. Anybody have an indy shop do their's recently? I have all the parts so it's a labor only job.

close to $500 in labor, but that depends on where you live and the skill level of the mechanic. Having your own parts is a detrement while looking for a mechanic, most shops will not accept them - at least around here.

Spend a day of your own time and have a beer afterward, it is much more satisfying :)

If you do the job or have it done, consider having the water pump replaced at the same time...it is an easy thing to do while someone is in there..
