Hello Everyone,

I'm looking for recommendations on brands for tie rod ends.

I just got quoted at a local NAPA at $90/side - I don't know what brand it is, but I realized that I didn't know what brands were good and which weren't and which stores sold which for what price, etc....

Any advice?

Somewhere I have a "how-to" I wrote a few years ago for the tie rod ends...let me know and I will try to find it for you. I used OEM from FCP and I wouldn't go cheap on these parts.

I checked on FCP and they will sell and ship me the "Volvo" ones for half the price of the local NAPA. I think I'm going to go with those, but they also sell 'aftermarket' ends for half the price again and I wanted to see if anyone had experience with those.

Go with OEM unless you like to Autocross :) The OEM from FCP are just fine.
