hello all,
I got this problem for about a year. The service reminder light keeps flashing. I tried resetting it many times but it didn't work. The car drives fine and have no other issue. Can someone help? thanks!!

    Something is fubar'd. The service light is not supposed to flash, ever. You could remove the instrument cluster and take out the bulb?

    The check engine light is a different story, when it flashes, stop the car and turn off the engine.

    Do you have any codes? Excluding B-2.

      thanks for the reply. well, i am not that handy... the only thing funny that happened to the car is once i put in a new battery after the battery is dead, at the beginning i didn't secure the battery connection well, so the instrument panel didn't work and lights are flashing, and for a while, the odometer is not moving either. after i secure the battery connection, everything come back to normal except the flashing service light... maybe that was the reason?

      i got a few codes after fixing the battery connection, power seats, ABS, engine etc. clear them all with no problem.

        You might have "fried" a part of the engine computer with the battery debacle. My only suggestion is to put a small piece of black electrical tape over the warning light,
