1998 S70 Front wheel bearing

I need to change a right front wheel bearing hub assy. on my 1998 S70.

If I remove the lower ball joint and strut bolts, will the knuckle slide out from the drive shaft in order to get at the four torx bolts to get the hub out of the knuckle, or is there anything else I need to do to get the job done?

Any links to diagrams of this would be appreciated. Never done one of these before.

Any special tools needed?

Thanks

Ed

I have done this job both ways and found it much easier to remove the assembly. Not much of a job and only (additionally) involves disconnecting the tie rod joint. It is much easier to get at the torx bolts. They can be a bugger to get sometimes and having the assembly clamped in a vise helps a lot.
    Good luck
