Hi

I just purchased a 1997 850r, but i have found that on boost the car has a miss and stumbles.

Any ideas, i am thinking MAF.

    Fixed

    Very badly worn sparkplugs, it was twice the recommeded spark gap, all the spark plugs and leads are very rusty.
    I have new ones on order, i just did a temp fix.

    I would replace the spark plugs first, use OEM.

      Right... If that doesn't do it go for the plug wires and distributor cap/rotor.
