need 16" rims for 205.55r16 for 2008xc70 V70-XC70

Are such rims available either alloy or steel to fit the 2008/9 xc70? Presently I have these winter tires on a SAAB, 2 sets one only months old ,which I would like to keep as i buy the Volvo. Is it doable?

Those tires are 2" less in diameter than the 225 that come with the car. Yes, they will fit on the rims, but the car will go slower than it used to by 2mph.

Your owner's manual, starting in section 245, has a lengthy explanation of your tire pressure monitoring system. If you buy separate rims to keep the snows on, the TPS will stay lit if the snow tires do not have the sensors installed in the valve caps.
Extra 16" rims can be bought on Ebay, but with the small tread expect handling problems in the snow and wet.
