What's the code #? Might help here although generic scan tool OBDII codes are not the same as Volvos VST (scan tool) codes, which is what I'm familiar with.

I'm unaware of a "high manifold pressure code" nor have I seen a problem with a device you call a "reverse check valve" which I'd gather wasn't your problem as the code re-appeared.

P108 is the generic OBD code. (Manifold Absolute Pressure High) The check valve is a little blue and white disc with nipples on each side for the vacuum lines. I think it was clogged, because I couldn't blow through the old one and I could blow through the new one. Of course, I still have the light.
