PCV System 850 1994

I recently replaced the entire pcv system on my 1994 NA 850. I purchased the kit from Groton. I just started it up the other night and drove it to work yesterday. When I looked under the hood, I see oil leaking from the hose that connects to the engine next to the spark plugs. Also, I still get the smoke from the dipstick and it comes out after I push it in. I removed the intake manifold and replaced the oil separator and all the hoses. Any ideas on what I did wrong or anywhere else I can look.

Regards,

Margaret

hi when you replaced the oil trap on the engine block did you clean out the holes inthe block that the oil trap goes into? If you didnt then the crankcase pressure will not leave into the oil trap and it will result in oil pushing out anywhere it can. when i did my pcv system I cleaned it out with a peice of hard wire then installed the oil trap [the black box at the bottom] good luck
