License Plate Placement 850 1996

I just purchased an 850 wagon from out of province and I have to put a front license plate on it...

Has anyone seen anything creative besides the basic centered mount?

Any suggestions???

It certainly would be nice if Volvo put an indent in the bumper for these New World plates. On my V70 it was center mounted, but stuck down too far and got in the way of the important air intake under the bumper. I turned the mount up side down, which improved things.
Stupid, usless plate! All it does is catch bugs and get bent.

Hah... well I'll be working on bending mine back... I wrote off my 960 in a front end collision... I'll see if I can straighten it out...

You could join me in my rebelious cause, never wash the front plate! Keep the rest of the car spotless, but bugs and crud remain on that useless appendage.

The law only states that a license plate has to be readable, so if there are a few bends in it???
