Tires... S70 1998

Need some advice on buying a set of tires for my 1998 C70 HTP...

Looking into the Bridgestone Potenza S-03...how do they handle, the wear, the noise, etc...any other other makes out there for the C70 that make the car handle great.

Should I stick with the 225/45/17 size ???

Does anyone have a C70 with 18inch tires...like the 225/40/18...would they fit on the C70 ???

Thanks in advance for the help.

    Re: Tires... S70 1998

Two years ago Road and Track magazing tested a BMW with three sizes of oversize wheels and performance tires. They did skid pan, braking, and lap times, and I think something else.

The result? The original size wheels and tires performed the best!

It seems that the suspension is probably tuned for that size.

It could be that the automotive engineers that designed your car might know what they are doing.
